Laurell Kaye Hamilton is an American fantasy / romance writer. She is the author of two series of stories and is best known for her New York Times-bestselling Anita Blake series, featuring a female necromancer turned magical investigator as the protagonist. The series currently runs to 16 novels. Many of her works are available as downloadable audio books. A real treat for all the Michael Chabon fans out there. I just found two of his books in audio book format. Both are available for immediate, simply click on "More Info" below the title the interests you. Yes the price is quite high for a downloadable audio book (not sure why) and you may be able to find them cheaper at another audio book store or maybe Amazon will have them cheaper, but at least you know they are available as audio books.

Wow…Just in the nick of time. I was looking for something scarey for you this Halloween and just in the nick of time look what I find.
For the H.P. Lovecraft enthusiasts among us you should find this next resource a double treat and this time there's no trick.
The way I came upon this, I was reviewing some of my Google Alerts and ran across a Blog post from DigitalMeltDown that contained just what I was looking for. The author called this post the first part of his Halloween Countdown finale. The next part of his finale will be a collection of Edgar Allan Poe titles.
This is an extremely long post with links to free downloads of audio versions of many of H.P. Lovecraft's works and many other resources for free downloadable audio books and Podcasts.
The author did an awesome job and I'm sure you'll be able appreciate the amount of work that must have went into it.
